Bee-keeping Cushion Kit
The texture on this Bee-keeping cushion kit was inspired by both the flight and homes of our precious bees. It is knitted with Cormo wool from the Falkland Islands. Cormo sheep, being a cross of Corriedale and Merino, produce a wonderfully soft yet dense wool which is ideal for a cushion like this. The front is patterned with three different designs in vertical bands and plain on the back with a buttoned opening. It is knitted in a single piece to reduce the need for sewing up. To ensure that the pattern is easy to follow, each line of the patterned section is written out in entirety. Five buttons are included in the kit.
To complete the project you will require one pair of 4 mm straight needles, and a 40/41 cm (16 inch) square cushion pad.
