Skelwith Socks Kit — Peacock
The Skelwith Socks come in two adult sizes and are knitted in the round with 4-ply bluefaced leicester wool, with a little nylon for durability. The simple, though unusual, rib pattern is easy to complete. The socks are worked from cuff to toe with instructions given for negative ease.
You can choose between the Signature 4-ply bird wools, as shown below. If you prefer a plain colour, simply email us and we can organise that for you too.
The kits contain 100g pure British wool in your selected shade, along with instructions.
To knit these socks you will just need a set of five 2.5 mm double pointed needles. The pattern is suitable for those new to sock knitting as well as those that are more experienced as the instructions give full explanation of the techniques used.
